INSURANCE & BILLING
Many extended health plans provide coverage for psychotherapy, though the amount of coverage will vary depending on your provider and individual plan. We recommend confirming with your insurance company that your plan includes services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist.

Psykhe offers direct billing with several insurance providers, which means we can submit claims on your behalf. While we may be able to bill your provider directly, it’s still important to confirm the details of your individual coverage.

PAYMENT
We offer a few payment options to make the process as simple and convenient as possible.

Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or e-transfer.
For ease of payment, a card can be securely stored on file and will be charged automatically following each session.

If you prefer to pay by e-transfer, payments can be sent to psykhepsychotherapy@gmail.com. We ask that e-transfers be completed following your session.
OUR POLICIES
We aim to keep our policies clear and straightforward so you know what to expect when booking and attending sessions. The information below outlines our cancellation and no-show policies.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the time to another client who may be waiting for support.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, are subject to the full session fee, as this time has been reserved specifically for you.
​
If you are late to a session, your clinician will check in with you shortly after the scheduled start time. They will wait up to 15 minutes. After that point, the session will be considered a no-show and the full session fee will apply, as there is not enough time remaining for a meaningful session.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If an emergency or crisis prevents you from attending or cancelling in advance, please reach out as soon as possible. In these situations, fees may be waived at the clinician’s discretion.​​
