Payment Options
We accept payment by credit card, debit card, or e-transfer.
For your convenience, a card can be added to your file and will be charged automatically after each session.
If you prefer to pay by e-transfer, payments can be sent to psykhepsychotherapy@gmail.com. Please ensure that the transfer is sent following your session.
Cancellation and
No Show Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours' notice—or missed appointments—will be subject to the full session fee, as this time has been reserved specifically for you.
If you are late for a session, you will receive a reminder email after 5 minutes to check in. The clinician will wait up to 15 minutes from the scheduled start time. After 15 minutes, the session will be considered a no-show, and the full session fee will apply, as the remaining time would not allow for a therapeutically meaningful session.
If an unexpected emergency or crisis prevents you from attending or cancelling in advance, please let us know as soon as possible. In such cases, the clinician may waive the fee at their discretion.
Billing and Insurance
While many insurance providers offer coverage for psychotherapy, the extent of coverage will depend on your provider and individual plan. We recommend confirming with your insurance company that your policy includes services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist.
Psykhe is set up for direct billing with several insurance providers, which means we can submit claims on your behalf. Please note that while we may be able to bill your provider directly, it's still important to verify that your individual plan covers the services we offer.
