ALL ABOUT ME
So many of us do it all, go-go-go, with no room to relax. Always multitasking — on your phone while watching TV, checking emails while in meetings — never really sitting still. You might take time to rest occasionally, sure, but you never really feel recharged.
You’re feeling down, hopeless, or burned out. You might be tense all the time, on edge, stressed, or just generally feeling a lot right now. Maybe you’re hard on yourself, or feeling crushed by pressure to do more and be more. Maybe it’s more just that something feels a bit off, you’re a bit stuck, and you’re still figuring out why that is. You might be considering making some changes, but not really sure where to start.
You might have a different, ideal version of yourself in your head, but that version seems far off in the future, something you’ll get to eventually, or maybe never reach. Maybe that version has your dream job, sets boundaries with confidence, is in a healthier relationship, and feels good about the decisions they’ve made.
My approach to therapy is to use our time together to explore, reflect, and approach change at a pace that works with where you’re at right now. Let’s look at what’s going on right now — Burnout? Work stress? Relationship issues? Pressure to do it all? — then go deeper, finding ways to let go of what is no longer serving you and building a path to a healthier future you that still feels authentic.
I believe our time together should be warm, steady, and collaborative, and want clients to leave feeling seen, heard, and recognized, with a greater understanding of themselves.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I am completing my final terms in my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) and have a dozen years’ experience in leadership and coaching roles.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I look forward to walking by your side.
